Sometimes my mind just sticks on something and I find myself repeating it over and over. This happens particularly at night when I am trying to sleep. Three ways I have found to quiet the fixation:
1. Write it down. Get it out of my head and onto paper.
2. Make a decision. If that is what I am thinking about, choose.
3. Focus on my breath. Basically meditate.
