I am reading Bittersweet, and I like Susan’s argument for it being ok to not be ok. I completely agree with her. If I find I want to be in a state of melancholy or sadness, that can be a good place to be. These are places that have value and can help me in many ways.

I am never saying anyone has to feel a certain way in order to be “right.” I am saying choose what makes you feel “right” and go after that.

Listen to yourself. Trust yourself. Respect yourself.
