A Little Happiness Just for You

Post 45: Happiness Diet

I look at happiness as a simple equation. More happy thoughts, feelings, and experiences equals more happiness. The more I seek out happiness, the more of it I have in my life.

If I eat only junk food, I will feel like crap. If I pay attention to what I put in my body I can feel wonderful. I can just eat whatever is in front of me. The world makes eating fast food, sugar, and junk very easy. That is what the world is constantly presenting to me; as I drive, in the gas station and grocery store, and at restaurants.

If I instead wait and look for the food that makes me feel good, I can fill my body with the nutrients that power it.

The exact same principle is what I am going for with thinking. Going through the world I can find plenty to make myself feel bad. If I focus on finding the things that make me feel good, I will discover them. I will feel good.

Eventually I can be filling my brain with so much good that I am just consistently happy. I would highly recommend going on a diet of happiness.
