Post 1,461: Sing It Loud
Both my daughters love to sing and act. I have been lucky enough to get to watch them tryout for many different roles in the times they have been attempting to get parts.
The thing is, the most common fear is public speaking. I would bet most people are even more afraid of singing in front of others. If given the choice, I would guess most people reading this would much rather talk in front of a crowd over even humming before the same gathering.
Yet, I go to these auditions and watch children and adults get up with obvious desire to do nothing else other than sing to the people in front of them.
Just because a lot of people feel one way doesn’t mean I have to.
