Post 1,351: Two Different Realities
The questions I ask myself cause the answers I hear to happen. In the same instance, I could be asking, “Is AI going to take my job?” or “Can AI do parts of my job for me?” Think about how different those two answers would make me feel.
The first gives me the feeling that AI can do a lot of what I do, so what good am I?
The second feeds me AI can take over the parts of my job I don’t love, or don’t feel like I am great at. So now I can do more of the things I enjoy and am proficient at.
One tells me I am useless. The other tells me I can be more useful. The exact same situation, with hugely different outcomes in how I feel.
I need to focus on what I am focusing on.
