Post 1,177: The Screwup
I find when I really fall into worry, I am stuck at a point. Here is an example of what I mean:
I am nervous I am going to run out of money. For some reason, that is where the concern stops. However, if I were to completely run out of money, what would happen the next day? My fear seems to believe I will be stuck in that moment forever. I will just be Poor Ryan, who has no money, eternally.
That is not how it works. In fact, the times in my life where money has become a problem have consistently pushed me to be better about money.
And yet, I worry about that moment of truly screwing up. I just need to remember I have survived every time I have truly screwed up before.
