Why, when I compare myself to others, is it always that rare individual who has found extreme success. It is the movie star, the professional athlete, the titan of industry. Why don’t I ever compare myself to the people I am doing better than. There is a much larger number of them.
Take just money. 700,000,000 people still live on less than $2.15 per day. That equals $784.75 per year. So, if I am making even $20,000 per year, I am doing 25 times better than 700,000,000 people in the world today.
Why don’t I ever look at it that way?
