I can be so focused on the thing I am afraid of happening later today, or tomorrow, or any time in the future. And nine times out of ten, it never does. I would even say I have been afraid of things that are impossible when I really think about them. On top of this, even if the thing I am afraid of does happen, I have no idea what being afraid of it for hours on hours has done for me.

Preparing for something is great. Looking for advice or assistance is fantastic. Worrying, and worrying, and worrying is terrible.

Focus on my breath. Help someone else. Get something done. All much better solutions than living in anxiety.
