A Little Happiness Just for You

Post 4: My #1 Obsession

My personal experience is I am almost always thinking about myself. I am worried about what I need to do, or if what I did was right, or how someone else is perceiving me. I live with Ryan Lynch one-hundred percent of the time. Therefore, Ryan Lynch is always on my mind. What’s wrong with Ryan? What would make Ryan better? What do other people think of Ryan? Can I make other people like Ryan more?

This also makes me worry about what everyone else is thinking about me? How is everyone else judging me? How do I control those judgements? This can be a constant source of stress.

However, when I talk to anyone else about this, they are obsessed with the exact same questions about themselves. Everyone is thinking about themselves most of the time.

It would make sense then that most people don’t think about me. Most people don’t judge me. And if they do judge me, it is for a few seconds before they forget and go back to thinking about themselves.
