Post 300: Embracing Change

I was talking with my therapist about how I have been feeling changed lately. I couldn’t explain what was different, if I thought it was a good or bad thing, or really anything about it at all. All I had noticed was that I was feeling off.

She told me to sit in the feeling. Explore the sensation and see what comes up. Simply having the conversation with her brought up some interesting thoughts that got my mind moving.

I think I was afraid because I have been a certain way for a long time, and what happens if I am not that anymore? If someone said this to me, I would ask, “Can you love that part of you, too?”

Now I get to find out. I will report back.
