Being happy doesn’t mean I am never sad, angry, or stressed. All those feelings happen to everyone. Being happy means I accept that I will have times when I am not happy. I still love me, even when I am sad. I still accept me, even when I am stressed.

The great news is that loving and accepting myself in those moments helps me find my way back to happiness more easily. Sometimes it even allows me to stay in them longer, because they have a time and place as well.
