I have found no tool more powerful than focusing on slow, deep, comfortable breaths. It is good for my physical, mental, and spiritual health. It gets me out of doom spirals. It stops me from saying something I shouldn’t. It helps my body feel powerful. It gives me a chance to think. It helps me get to sleep. It makes me look calm, cool, and collected. It puts me in the moment.
I have focused specifically on breathing slowly and comfortably through my nose, with my stomach moving instead of my shoulders. I guarantee this one focus will make your life better.
