Post 1,322: A Good Friend in a Bad Place
I was talking with a friend today, and he is in hard times. It is tough to know what to say in those moments when I am getting a report from someone who is struggling.
We ended up talking about experiences we had when we were in high school together. We both were laughing.
Just because someone is in a rough spot, doesn’t mean I have to treat them any differently. They are still my friend. They can still find joy inside the sorrow.
The best way to be a friend, is to be the same friend no matter what is going on in the other person’s life.
