I like to pay attention to how I treat myself in the small ways. Take for example my alarm to wake me up in the morning. It’s the very first thing I hear in my day, how I am welcomed into waking life. Am I being kind to myself with what I choose for my alarm sound?

How does my day start differently if I hear a loud, blaring noise, verses a calm, soothing noise? How do I wake up differently? How does it immediately make me feel?

Paying attention to the little things can greatly affect me.
