
Post 1,178: A Worthy Individual
I had a friend reach out and say I should write about what to do when things are really tough. I would say, go to a therapist. Talk to people. Workout. Go for a walk. Breathe. Or more simply, take care of myself.
The big thing is, what I am talking about is a practice. And it is something I work on when things are going well, and when they are not going well. The more I practice, the better it makes both those extremes.
I will say that focusing on listening to myself, trusting myself, and following my own thoughts and feelings for years now has made the tough times much more bearable. I believe in myself. I believe I will make it through.
If you are in a really tough time, it might be worth talking to a professional. It is definitely worth talking to people in general. You are worth helping.
