Post 1,035: Happy Trash
Yesterday, I got out for Earth Day and helped pick up a bunch of trash around a park I love to go to. It struck me how happy and content I was simply wandering around a park picking up trash. This sounds like a horrible use of my time, and yet I found myself quite content knowing I was helping.
Helping (even in general) can be so powerful, it can even make boring or non-ideal tasks a darn good time.
