I just had a friend tell me I am freakish because I pretty much always look on the bright side, and my natural set point seems to be happy. The thing is I worked to get there. By (1) noticing how I was feeling, (2) resetting myself, and (3) looking for other options, I have been able to change my natural settings.

I used to not like me. I can’t say I hated myself, it was just so easy to find everything wrong with me. Simply following the process I laid out above over and over again (and still to this day), I just keep finding more and more of me.

It is a workout for my mindset. And the more I do it, the stronger my chosen outlook becomes.
