I have found I was very wrong about stress and anxiety. I used to believe relying on these two as fuel would push me to go further, and do more. I got things done, while feeling terrible before, during, and after.

Then I started to focus on doing things because I was excited about them. I am going to do this because it helps people. I am pushing through so I feel better, stronger, more stable.

All that stress was unnecessary. It didn’t help. It typically hurt, because I wasn’t free to explore. I was trapped in anxiety.

I found I didn’t need stress and anxiety. They needed my focus on them to exist.
