A potentially not very simple question is: do I know how I am feeling better than _______? ______ could be my friend, my family, society, my coworkers, a book, or an article. _______ could be anything.
If the answer is not me, then I have some work to do. If someone or something outside of me better understands what is going on inside me than myself, then I have been hiding, pushing away, or ignoring something. Maybe introspection, perhaps therapy, even just shutting up and really listening to the other could all help.
More likely than not though, the answer is I know what I am thinking and feeling better than anyone else. If that is the answer, then the next question is do I need to start working on trusting myself more?
