Post 633: A Reset

I am just finishing up my vacation with my family and it has been wonderful to unplug. I start back to the real world today and instantly I woke up in the middle of the night with my mind racing on worries of what I need to do when I make it back home.

It got me thinking about how thoroughly I was able to unplug when I knew there was nothing I was able to do about it tomorrow. I am still on vacation tomorrow. Let the worries of home be for home.

I am glad I have found ways to give myself that reset in my normal life. Go for a walk. Workout. Get on my bike. Hike. Typically, any form of movement outside will do the trick for me. It doesn't stop the middle of the night worries. It does give me energy and calm in the middle of normal.

I recommend finding what resets you.
