Post 424: Thank you, Pain

This might be a placebo; I have found it to work for me. When I have a pain, or a negative emotion, I think it is trying to tell me something. The discomfort in my back is making me aware of a need. The anger that comes up is trying to warn me about a danger in my world. I see these feelings as though they are wanting to protect me.

I thank the pain, or the fear, or the anxiety. Many times, I believe it has done its job. Often, this allows it to move on.
