Attempting to hold back emotions seems to be always bad, even if I am terrified of feeling one.

The problem is by holding a pain away from me, I end up holding on to it. The horrible thing I don’t want to feel sticks around for as long as I don’t allow myself to really feel it.

By accepting that I am feeling the way I am feeling, I can experience my life more completely. I have less baggage weighing me down. I get to experience the next thing fully, because I am not holding on to everything I don’t want to feel.
