In the book How to Feel Sad, Helen Russell quoted a study I had never heard before. Just one week without physical activity will make you feel worse. I am talking about feelings. After one week without exercise, you will feel sadder, more anxious, more upset. All it takes is one week without getting out for a walk, doing some yoga, or getting to the gym to lose the mental benefits these activities give you.
