A Little Happiness Just for You

Post 2: Homework

I am going to start by un-defining terms. Even better, I am saying you have to do the work to define everything for yourself. Throughout my posts, I will write words like good and bad. Whenever I use those concepts, I am thinking about what is good or bad for me specifically.

However, what I think of as good might not be good for you. Same thing with what I consider to be bad.

This means you need to become aware of your interpretations. The simplest way I have found to do this is to notice how I feel when I think about something or make a choice. Begin to notice how your thoughts and actions make you feel. The more tuned into your mind and body you can be, the better for understanding what makes you feel good or bad.

Put simply, if you want to be happier, you need to start noticing what adds to your happiness, and what subtracts from it.
