Post 1,467: The Writer
Both my children have decided they are interested in singing and acting. Both have been trying out for roles at our local community playhouse for a while now. We found out this weekend that my youngest got her very first role! On top of that, her sister was offered a role in the same musical.
My girls have had to face a lot of rejection. Both tried out for over a year before anything happened for either of them. To have my youngest’s first role ever get to be alongside her sister feels special.
Think about what a story it is to try and try and try, and then to get to do the thing you are so excited about with one of your very favorite people in the world.
We can write our own stories.
