Post 1,465: Blind Follower
When I am explaining a choice to myself, I want to be able to dig deep enough so I understand the meaning of the reasons I am giving.
I am going to do it because it is what is right.
How, in this situation, is it right? What is right about it? Is there anything in the situation that is making it not right?
I am doing it because it is what I told myself I would do.
Is it exactly to the letter of the law of what I told myself I would do? Do I still agree with my past self who told me I need to do this?
I don’t want to blindly follow any decrees. Even if those decrees are my own.
