Post 1,444: A Whole New World
It is crazy to see how much the world has changed. My family did a movie night yesterday. It was my wife’s turn to choose, and she picked a movie she remembered loving from her childhood. To say it was jarring to see how many things would not be allowed in a movie theater today, especially for a children’s movie, is putting it mildly.
This was just a movie.
When I look at my beliefs in the past, there are so many where I believe the exact opposite now. I have grown and developed into a very different person than the Ryan of 10, 20, and 30 years old.
I say all this to point out that we have the ability to dramatically change who we are and our perception of the world we live in. With that knowledge, what world do you want to live in?
