Post 1,429: Unnecessary Opinions
At this point, when someone is talking to me about their life choices, past, present, or future, I just answer questions and don’t add to them. Whether or not I think the decision is going to work for them doesn’t seem to matter. Either the person figures it out, or they don’t. And frankly, my track record is hideous. I am not good at knowing when someone is going to be good at something.
So, if I am asked for information, that is what I am going to give. My opinions on how good it will be for someone really seems to have no effect on the outcome, so why do I feel so compelled to give them?
