Post 1,412: Negativity Bombs
This is just a random observation I thought was worth sharing. I rarely drink alcohol. Maybe four or five times a year if the mood hits me just right. I drank with friends this last Friday night. For the next three days, the amount of negative thoughts and feelings I had were somewhat overwhelming. Now that some time has passed, I seem to have gone back to my normal baseline.
This is not scientific at all. I don’t know if there is causation here. I just noticed a crushing amount of negativity in me. Then, as time passed beyond my drinking experience, the stifling negativity left me as well.
I point this out as something to experiment with for yourself. If you took time away from alcohol, how would you feel?
