Post 1,404: Our Time
This is the first summer where my daughters have just been gone more. My oldest is out with friends, or away at camp. My youngest is off to day camps, and actually did her first full week away at overnight camp as well.
It makes me much more aware of how little time I have left with them. And in that time, they are already going to be very busy.
So, I am intentionally resetting myself to just be with them more. By this I mean, be present, be engaged, be noticing them.
I only get them for so long. I want to make that time ours as much as possible.
