Post 1,320: An Unexpected Jaunt
My daughter wanted to plant a raspberry bush in our yard. So, we did. Then we realized we have a ton of wild bunnies around our neighborhood. We have a hardware store close to us, and I said I would go grab some fencing.
My daughter asked if she could come with me. I replied she absolutely could and asked her if she would prefer to drive or walk, assuming the easy button would be her choice.
Instead, she said she would scooter while I walked, and we ended up having a lovely time getting outside together.
If I stick with my assumptions, I could miss out on a lot. That is why I always aim to just ask. I never know what I am going to get.
