Post 1,313: Imagined Disasters
My brain is powerful. I can be in a state of euphoria one moment, and then a thought occurs to me and it is doom spiral all the way down. One thing I have found to help me is to remember previous doom spirals and their eventual real-life outcomes.
I have never had my worst-case scenario happen. Dealing with reality always helps me make it better than I can imagine it being.
Even though I have completely failed a million times in my head, it has only happened sparsely in reality. The ratio of imagined disasters to actually occurring ones is huge.
