Post 1,268: A Compass
It is so difficult to know I am right. Until something has happened, there are infinite possible outcomes. Even once the thing has occurred, there are so many potential interpretations.
This is why I put so much weight on how I feel. If doing something makes me feel good, then it doesn’t really matter if it was the right option by anyone else’s interpretation. I did it, and I feel good.
On the opposite end, if I do something and it always makes me feel negatively, then no matter how many other people tell me it is good, I still feel bad.
Listening to myself, and believing myself is so important. No matter what anyone else says, I am the only one who knows how anything makes me feel. Trusting my feelings can be a compass for making decisions in my life.
