Post 1,188: Builder of Worlds
I went to see the new Avatar the other night. It just blows my mind how James Cameron decided what he wanted and went out and did it. He decided to screw all other movies and focus solely on creating this world of Pandora, with movie technology that he is inventing as he goes, with characters that no one knew, and I personally don’t see anywhere else, with movies that are three plus hours long.
And everyone goes to it. And everyone sits through it. And everyone loves it.
Imagine the power it takes to decide I am going to build a world and then just go do it.
