Post 1,136: An Argument for Selfishness
The problem with doing something because I think it is what someone else wants from me goes deep. One, I will never know if it is really what “they” want from me, or even if they actually want anything from me at all. Two, what about what I want? What will it do to me if I spend my whole life ignoring what I want?
