Post 1,119: A World of My Own
I recently bought a new car. My old car was one of the smallest cars on the road. I loved it! My new car is one of the biggest cars on the road. I also love it!
The interesting thought here is, my wife has a medium sized car. When I had my small car, her car felt so big. Now, only a couple of months later, when I get into her car, it feels so small. Her car didn’t change. My perception of it changed because of how I am regularly looking at the world.
I believe this can be done with almost any perception. If I regularly focus on how I am seeing the world, and I choose to see it as beautiful, abundant, kind, and caring, this is the world I will perceive.
