Post 1,092: The Anxiety Trap

To follow up from yesterday:

This time my apprehension got it right. I need a whole new system.

Two things I have noticed though:

All the worrying did not help in any way. It did nothing for me other than hurt me. I got less sleep. I was irritable. I was distracted. Every time I could center myself, or distract myself from it, I felt better.

The second thing I found hopefully helps me fight the fear next time. When the answer became clear, then it was another thing I need to deal with. It wasn’t a possible burden, it was reality. And I can deal with reality.

I hope this story helps you. I write about choosing my focus. I write about centering on the breath. I write about choosing the world I live in. Even though I am so constantly focused on it, even I can fall down the anxiety trap. It happens to everyone.
