Post 1,082: Unbelievable Happiness
I just recently had another version of a conversation that has happened to me a surprising number of times. Someone who I met within the last year felt comfortable enough to tell me they really didn’t like me when they first encountered me.
Basically, my happiness felt so unreal, they thought I was being fake. They had come across me through other people though. And they watched me with these others they trusted, and realized I was being authentic.
It is hard to hear that someone who is genuinely happy is seen as probably faking it. Which side of these options would I rather be on, though?
