Post 1,049: Poor Focus
Growing up I was incredibly fortunate to have an amazing family. Everyone in my family made me feel cared for, and I valued them all. I was lucky to have a home where I knew I was loved.
And yet, I would focus on not having that friend, or not having a girlfriend, or even just wanting everyone else’s cars. I went through my days seeing everything I was missing. It was just such a focus on lack, when I had something that was a source of so much abundance.
What I focus on matters.
